This September, Mike Carpino Ford Lincoln is teaming up with Wesley House to Fill a Ford; and we need your help!
We will be collecting nonperishable food and monetary donations all September long to help support individuals and families in our community.

What to Donate
Wesley House can distribute a wide variety of nonperishable foods, but some of their greatest current needs include:
- Peanut Butter
- Jelly
- Soup
- Beans
- Canned fruits
- Canned Vegetables
- Canned chicken
- Canned tuna
Canned chicken and tuna are especially helpful since Wesley House uses them regularly, yet they aren’t donated as often.
How Mike Carpino Ford Lincoln Is Giving Back
We’re committed to making every sale and service visit count throughout September:
$100 for Every Vehicle Sold
Every customer who purchases a new or pre-owned vehicle during September can choose to have the donation made in their name or anonymously.
And that $100 makes a real difference.
According to Wesley House’s Executive Director, Matt O’Malley, $100 can provide food for 20 of our neighbors.
Costumers can choose to have the monetary contribution made in their name or part of Mike Carpino Ford Lincoln’s donation.
You get the keys. Wesley House gets $100. Our community wins.
Round Up For A Reason
Service customers will have the opportunity to round up their service bill and add the difference to our donation for Wesley House.
Those small amounts can add up quickly! Wesley House purchases food through the Kansas Food Bank at discounted rates, making donated dollars go even further.
In fact, Wesley House says just $20 can help provide food for a family of four.
Community Food Drive
We’re collecting nonperishable food items that will help support Wesley House Food Pantry and our neighbors.
Meet Wesley House
For more than four decades, Wesley House has been helping our neighbors when they need it most. Established in 1982, Wesley House is an outreach ministry of the First United Methodist Church in Pittsburg, KS.
The organization provides food and toiletry items to any Crawford Country resident in need, serving as both a sanctuary in times of crisis and a community resource for our community.
And the need continues to grow.
The Impact of Wesley House
In 2025 alone, Wesley House has:
- Provided food to 13,335 Crawford County residents
- Served 5,209 families (a 30% increase from 2024)
- Distributed more than 300,000 pounds of food through its pantry
- Served a population in which 35% are children and 15% are seniors
- Provided Christmas boxes containing holiday meals to more than 500 families
And in July 2026, Wesley House experienced its busiest month ever, serving 518 households representing 1,411 individuals

Wesley House welcomes volunteers Sunday - Thursday from 1:00 PM-3:00 PM. Volunteers help pantry guests "shop" for the food they need.
